- Name's Matt and I'm about to enter my junior year at the Hartt School in West Hartford, Connecticut as a composition major (formerly music education). I'm a vocalist (and trumpet player) and in a past life played string bass and cello. This blog came about as a result of me finding myself constantly posting in my personal blog about all these AMAZING high school-age ensembles I keep stumbling upon as I surf the net as well as neat composers and music I'm continually discovering. It's also a place to let you all know about my various compositional and other musical endeavors!
