a prodigy worth looking out for
emily bear, a 7-year-old pianist hailing from rockford, IL.
most young "prodigies" have innate talent and through lessons gain technique far beyond their years, but lacking the artistry that often comes with that technique at an older age. this little girl, however, has not only incredible technique, but such a sense of musicality it is unbelievable. she also loves improvisation and composition, and in that same vein really enjoys playing jazz. simply remarkable. and she's cute too!
and can you believe she's not asian?!
